PUNTA GORDA, FL (January 8, 2014) – The Senior Extra program at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda (formerly Peace River and Charlotte Regional Medical Centers) are pleased to offer a free educational lecture by Inspector/Federal Agent Mark Cavic on how to protect yourself from identity theft.
Identity theft happens when someone steals your personal information and uses it without your permission. It’s a serious problem that affects more people every day. It can wreak havoc with your finances, credit history, and reputation – and can take time, money, and patience to resolve. Learn how to be identity-smart and protect yourself from falling victim to identity thieves.
The public is invited to attend Cavic’s lecture “Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft.” It will take place on January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda’s Medical Office Plaza, located at 713 E. Marion Avenue in Punta Gorda. Inspector Cavic will hold a question and answer session following the lecture.
